Responsible investment

by

11 Jan 2021

Responsible investing has been a big topic for years. It was once considered niche, but there is a strong argument that earning a return on an investment that makes a positive environmental and/or social impact is now a mainstream investment strategy.

The Covid pandemic has hit the world hard and it will be changed in some ways when the virus is just a memory. Alongside this, the protests we have seen around the world show that social issues are becoming more and more important to governments, companies and organisations.

The events of 2020 have increased the importance of responsible investing strategies. As we enter a new year, we thought it would be an idea to look at how things have changed by reviewing the thoughts of a panel of experts on the topic at a roundtable we held in September.
