Environmental, social and governance-led investing, more popularly known as ESG, has become a mainstream strategy among institutional investors.
It started with a desire to halt man-made damage to our climate and to protect indigenous communities, but has evolved to include many other issues, such as water conservation, protecting natural habitats and reducing inequality.
