The topic is ‘Race Equity and Investor Stewardship Trends – Headlines from the 2021 Proxy and Annual Meeting Season’. The forum will convene at 17:00 BST on the 14th June 2021.

Building on the momentum of the inaugural Global Investor Strategy and Corporate Governance Forum in Q1 focusing on investors as a lever for driving racial equity, we are pleased to support the upcoming Q2 forum.

The excellent panel features, Keith Skeoch, Diandra Soobiah, David Tyler and Georgina Marshall led by Sophie Chandauka and Deborah Gilshan  in covering:

  • The impact of investor voting and engagement strategies, collaborations and other stewardship escalation strategies such as requisitioned resolutions.
  • How data, transparency and disaggregated disclosures and target setting are emerging as baseline expectations.
  • The role of finance industry bodies, who represent the collective voice of investors, and how they are being held to account on their own diversity challenges.
  • The role of asset owners, such as pension funds, in improving diversity standards in the investment industry.
