Taylor Wimpey’s pension scheme is now receiving third party administration services from Hymans Robertson.

The consultancy was chosen by the scheme’s trustees following a beauty parade and now serves the fund and its 18,000 members. This makes the FTSE 100 house-builder its largest administration client.

Taylor Wimpey’s head of reward and pensions, Anthony Moriarty, said the trustees picked Hymans Robertson because they were impressed by its administration service offering.

They also felt especially reassured by its dedication to providing a member experience.

“As we have gone live, our initial impressions of Hyman’s professionalism and openness have been reinforced,” he added. “It has demonstrated that it is building a great member experience from day one.”

Hymans Robertson partner Rob Harper said winning this mandate from the blue chip house-builder is testament to the personalised service provided to schemes, regardless of scale.

“Throughout the tender process it was clear that the quality of our people and overall work ethic shone through, making us the clear choice,” he added.
