The National House-Building Council (NHBC) Pension Scheme is to receive administration services from consultancy Barnett Waddingham.

NHBC provides warranty insurance and is a standard setter for new homes. Its services, which are linked to house building and general construction, include energy ratings, health and safety, sustainability and training.

The scheme, previously advised by Aon Hewitt, will now be administered by a team led by Barnett Waddingham partner Nuala Hedges.

Hedges said the firm was appointed following a rigorous tender process.

“This appointment is a reflection of commitment to our ongoing investment in the quality of our services for the benefit of our clients,” she said.

NHBC Pension Scheme’s chair of trustees Dame Yvonne Moores said: “We were impressed by Barnett Waddingham in this competitive process and the trustees are delighted with the appointment.”
