Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM) has appointed Jonathan Clenshaw as head of European institutional sales.

Clenshaw will join the firm in the newly-created role on 1 July from Deutsche Bank Asset Management where he was head of UK and Ireland distribution and head of EMEA insurance.

He will be based in London with responsibility for distribution and client servicing for LOIMโ€™s institutional clients in Europe. He will also lead the development of institutional client relationships in European markets.

Clenshaw (pictured) spent 20 years at Deutsche Bank where he held roles in Frankfurt and London across the global markets and asset management divisions, including three years as a client solutions director.

Prior to this, he held positions in institutional client and fixed income sales at Commerzbank and WestLB.

LOIM global head of sales and solutions Carolina Minio-Paluello said: โ€œJonathanโ€™s appointment reflects our commitment to the growth of our institutional business across Europe and to provide a quality client experience.

“He brings a valuable combination of skills to Lombard Odier IM, including deep industry and market expertise, as well as the ability to identify and capture business growth opportunities.โ€
