Jill Barber is leaving Franklin Templeton Investments next month to pursue “another opportunity”, the asset manager has confirmed.

She will vacate the head of UK institutional role that she has held for the past four years on 10 October.

Until then Barber (pictured) is working to ensure a smooth transition with a team that includes director of institutional client service Chris Orr and director of DC business development David Whitehair.

Barber joined Franklin Templeton from Hermes, where she was responsible for global consultant relations and UK business development.

Prior to that, the University of London graduate enjoyed roles at Fidelity International and Capital Group.
